GEO and sustainable performance: the moderating role of GTD and environmental consciousness

Purpose Congruent with the world-wide call to combat global warming concerns and advance intellectual capital (IC), organisations are being pressured ensure that IC is managed effectively encourage green initiatives. In this regard, entrepreneurial orientation (GEO) emerged as a relevant IC. GEO recognised mitigating factor of environmental degradation in literature. Although prior literature has observed nexus between firm performance, role leveraging sustainable performance been limitedly explored. This study explored relationship enterprises' through moderating roles consciousness technology dynamism (GTD) context two developing countries (Pakistan Malaysia). Design/methodology/approach Data provided by 296 respondents from 264 manufacturing small medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) Pakistan Malaysia were analysed three-wave research design. AMOS 23 software was used perform covariance-based structural equation modelling (CB-SEM), while hierarchical regression analysis applied using SPSS 25 examine causal relationships model.
